From spring, when nature awakes, to late autumn, with its incredible, colorful splendor lure the countless walking and hiking trails invite to explore the unrivaled natural beauty. Directly from our farm you can hike the forest animal trail “Gumperle”, an instructive adventure especially for children. Tours in the breathtaking mountains are special experiences, and for the toil of the climb you will be rewarded with magnificent views. In addition our region is rich in tourist attractions. The Ötzi Museum in Bozen, the Botanical Gardens of Trauttmansdorff in Meran or Churburg in Schluderns with the largest private collection of armor in Europe are just a few examples. Do you know the smallest town in South Tyrol? The medieval town of Glurns and its walled city are looking forward to your visit, as well as the four National Park houses in Vinschgau. And last but not least Prad am Stilfserjoch has numerous cultural activities to offer, where we are very active.
A true winter wonderland
In winter months a true winter wonderland waits for you and there are many opportunities to indulge in winter sports. Directly at the farm, if there is enough snow, you can wonderfully toboggan and have lots of fun in the snow on the house lawn. In the area of Prad am Stilfserjoch there are magnificent ski resorts, which you can reach from our farm. The ski resorts of Solda and Trafoi are easily accessible with the free ski-bus, which starts directly below our farm. Watles, Schöneben and Haideralm before Reschenpass are other worthwhile skiing areas around. Directly in Prad, with enough snow, there are a ski lift for children, a great toboggan run and perfectly groomed trails. Of course, your children will have fun in the enchanting winter landscape.
