Farm Animals

What kind of farm holiday in Vinschgau would be without animals? And at Hof am Schloss there are a lot.

Apart from a few milking cows mainly suckler cows are kept. The calves remain then from birth with the mother.
Our cows spend the summer on the alpine pasture, where they have it especially beautiful!
From the milking cows we receive alpine cheese and alpine butter in autumn.

In the new free playpen the animals can decide for themselves whether they reside on the farm’s lawn or in the barn.

Animal occupants at Hof am Schloss are pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits and the pony Linda. He is particularly pleased about pats,
as our donkey Lisl.

And Aika, the small farm dog, is always happy about new visitors!

A small petting zoo with various poultry completes animal life and ensures a lot of fun while vacationing at the farm in Vinschgau.
